Clive has worked for the last fifeteen years in private general practice in the City of London. He was senior medical practitioner at the Finsbury Medical Centre before its acquisition by GenMed and was appointed Medical Director of GenMed in March 2006. His role includes ensuring that core values of the medical service provided by the clinical staff are upheld and are of the highest standard. He has overall responsibility for the clinical team across all sites and works closely with the clinical leads at each location in addition to practicing as a GP at Finsbury Healthcare and at Baker Street Medical Centre.
Clive Forman qualified in medicine from Westminster Hospital Medical School in 1984 and entered NHS general practice in 1988. After seven years as a GP principal he left the NHS and joined Finsbury Healthcare in 1995 where he has worked ever since. He has post-graduate qualifications in Obstetrics; Gynaecology as well as Occupational Health and is a registered Oil and Gas UK examining doctor.
Dr Bernadette McKenna hails from Cork, in Southern Ireland. She graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 1995.
Following medical and surgical internships in Ireland she moved to the UK to undergo post graduate training in general practice and rotational posts at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge in paediatrics, medicine, care of the elderly, obstertrics and gynaecology.
Dr McKenna was awarded membership of the Royal College of GPs in 1999 and also gained post graduate qualifications in paediatrics, womens health and dermatology. Her specific interests are in the fields of general practice, womens health and dermatology.
She worked in the NHS as a clinical assistant in both Dermatology and Sexual Health at a large London teaching hospital and has worked in the private sector in the UK and Ireland since 1999 in both corporate healthcare and traditional family practice.
Bernadette joined General Medical Clinics in 1997 and currently works at the Baker Street Medical Centre as a GP. She is the third generation of doctors in her family and continues to retain a clinic link with her family practice in Ireland one day a week.
When she's not busy with her clinical commitments, Bernadette is better known as 'Dr Pixie' for her work on the popular TV shows 'Embarrassing Bodies' and 'Embarrassing illnesses'.
Elaine graduated from Kings College London in 1997 and has worked extensively in both the NHS and private sector. She has a wealth of experience treating musculoskeletal conditions but has a keen interest in treating spinal dysfunction and lower limb disorders.
She has postgraduate qualifications in acupuncture which she uses in combination with manual therapy, pilates and exercise to assist clients return to 'optimum levels' of function.
